(Indianapolis, IN) -- The WNBA is now dealing with a downside of what's called the Caitlin Clark Effect.
TV ratings for the league have dropped over 50% since the Indiana Fever basketball star was sidelined over two weeks ago with a quad injury.
National league broadcasts are off 55% while Fever games are down 53%.
Clark was supposed to be out for two weeks, but she's missed five games over nearly three weeks so far.
A date for her return still hasn't been announced.
