(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A committee supporting the latest Cedar Rapids Schools facilities bond is officially launching its campaign.
The group Believe in CR was at the Farmer's Market over the weekend collecting some of the nearly 6-thousand signatures needed to get the 117-million dollar bond question on November's ballot.
The committee also launched a website with more information about the bond proposal.
Unlike the last facilities bond that failed at the ballot box, this new bond has the support of the city, the Linn County Board of Supervisors, and a local labor council.
