(Moline, IL) -- National Weather Service survey teams found considerable damage from an EF-1 tornado that tore through Moline Tuesday evening.
Meteorologist Dave Cousins says a roof was torn off a home while another had its walls caved in. He says teams also found significant tree damage.
Cousins says that the 300-yard wide tornado with winds of 100 miles-per-hour traveled nine miles from Coyne Center past Quad Cites airport, South Park Mall and ended near Moline High School.
It was one of eight EF-1 twisters confirmed in the QCA.
