(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids took down their wind turbine in dramatic fashion yesterday.
The 417-foot structure was toppled with explosives.
The turbine was a training tool for students in the former Energy Production and Distribution Technologies Program which was cancelled due to low enrollment.
