(Davenport, IA) -- Those who are sensitive to poor air quality may be at risk today as smoke from Canadian wildfires drifts south into the Midwest.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Jim Hladik says the smoke will hang around for most of the weekend, but today brings the biggest concern because of the potential for the smoke to drop to the surface.

If it does, it will happen late this afternoon and this evening.
