(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O'Donnell says the notion that voters were confused by ballot language in a 2021 casino referendum is insulting.

A hearing was held Wednesday in Mount Pleasant on a petition filed by Riverside Casino to reverse approval of a casino license for Linn County.

Riverside contends the ballot language was misleading.

Lawyers for Cedar Crossing casino developers told a Henry County judge that not a single voter came forward to dispute the referendum question wording.

The judge is expected to make a decision within days.
