The FBI summarizes a recent nationwide operation to protect children as part of April’s National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The bureau says "Operation Restore Justice," was a five-day, sweeping FBI initiative to identify, track, and arrest child sex predators in coordination with all 55 FBI field offices.

As part of this operation, the FBI Omaha Field Office, which covers Iowa along with Nebraska, with the assistance of local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, arrested 3 people, served 4 federal search warrants, and identified 15 victims from approximately 1,000 images submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Last week alone, the FBI says agents arrested 205 suspects and rescued 115 children across the country during the surge of resources used for "Operation Restore Justice."
