Beer Credited For $5.4 Billion In Iowa Economy

Beer generates $5.4-Billion dollars in economic output in Iowa.

Beer supports more than 27,000 jobs in the state according to the latest Beer Serves America report from the Beer Institute and the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA).

That includes brewers, distributors, retailers, agriculture, and manufacturing.

Beer is also responsible for almost $532-Million dollars in tax revenue for the state.

Nationally, the beer industry generates $471-billion dollars in economic activity annually, supporting more than 2.4-Million jobs.
