Heavy Rains Tomorrow Will Cause Wapsi River Near DeWitt To Crest Friday

(Davenport, IA) -- As rain is forecast for most of Thursday, the National Weather Service is issuing a flood warning for an eastern Iowa river.

The Wapsipinicon River near DeWitt is closing in on moderate flood stage of 11-and-a-half feet this morning.

It's expected to crest at almost 12-feet Friday night and remain above 11-foot flood stage until Sunday night.
