(Amana, IA) -- Whirlpool Amana announced that the company will be postponing layoffs that were initially scheduled to go into effect on June 1st.

On April 1st, the company had announced plans to let go of over 650 employees to align with consumer demand, marking the largest layoff in Iowa so far this year. However, the company has now decided to retain the employees for a longer period, with the official layoffs now set to occur later in 2025.
