(Iowa City, IA) -- No one is hurt after a fire caused major damage to a home in Iowa City Monday evening.
The Iowa City Fire Department says crews responded to reports of the fire around 6:30pm Monday. When firefighters arrived, all of the home's residents had already gotten out safely. Firefighters were able to put the fire out in roughly 40 minutes.
Investigators say the fire caused an estimated $400,000 worth of damage to the home.
