(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Seventy cameras are now helping the Cedar Rapids Police department fight crime.
The Flock cameras record license plates and run them against a database looking for stolen vehicles, arrest warrants, and missing persons.
CRPD tells the Gazette they've got hits on nearly 3,000 vehicles in the past 30 days.
The cameras cost the city half-a-million dollars over two years.
