(Linn County, IA) -- Tow bans are in effect until further notice in several eastern Iowa counties.
Bans are in effect in Linn, Iowa, Johnson, Poweshiek, Tama, and Warren counties. The Linn County Sheriff's office says the bans are due to some roads in those counties still being completely or partially covered with ice or snow.
Conditions are expected to improve by Thursday evening.
