(Linn County, IA) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an inmate in his cell at the Linn County Correctional Center.
Jail staff say they found the inmate unresponsive around 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, and were unable to revive him.
The inmate's identity hasn't been released.
The County Medical Examiner will be performing an autopsy.
