(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A petition against a Cedar Rapids casino says the 2021 bond vote is invalid cause the ballot question wasn't worded properly.
The complaint filed with the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission by Riverside Casino says voters were asked if they wanted to 'continue' gaming when it hadn't started yet.
The IRCG says a hearing on the petition is scheduled for January 23rd, with a ruling coming a few days later.
A decision on the Linn County casino license is scheduled for February 6th.
