(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- An investigation is underway after an industrial fire in Cedar Rapids.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department received reports of the fire around 11:45 Wednesday morning. When crews arrived, they found one plant worker suffering from thermal exposure, but the worker's injuries were minor and did not require treatment. The fire was contained to a single grain silo and extinguished after a few hours.
The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
