(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Community School District is looking over a plan to use virtual learning days when weather forces a cancellation of classes.

That was part of an overall review of the proposed 2025-26 school calendar Monday.

The District would plan for up to just over 32 hours of online class time due to weather related school closings.

A public hearing on the 2025-26 calendar is planned for January 13th.
