(Linn County, IA) -- A Linn County home is destroyed after a fire Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported around noon near Center Point. Investigators say the home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived. The occupants of the home were able to get out of the house, but firefighters were told there were several pets still inside.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
