(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man is in custody after a high-speed chase that ended in a crash Tuesday morning.
Police are identifying the suspect as 38 year-old Antonio McLaurin. Police spotted a vehicle going over the speed limit early Tuesday morning. Investigators say he briefly evaded officers who were trying to pull him over before crashing into a ditch.
Multiple occupants of the car escaped after the crash, but police were able to take 38 year-old Antonio McLaurin. The chase remains under investigation, and further charges could be pending.
