Marion Police Warning About Door to Door Scam

(Marion, IA) -- The Marion Police Department is warning residents about a new scam.

Police say this particular scam involves scammers going door to door saying they're selling solar power units. Investigators say some have claimed to work for Alliant Energy and have been caught on home doorbell cameras. Alliant has confirmed that these are not their employees.
