Ribbon-Cutting Planned For Restored 148 Year-Old Iowa Bridge

(Linn County, IA) -- A bridge that was built before cars were invented has new life in Linn County.

The historic Bertram Road Bridge, or Blue Bridge, has been relocated, and restored as a pedestrian bridge at the Indian Creek Nature Center.

Eric Hart with the Indian Creek Nature Center tells Iowa's News Now that the center will hold a ribbon-cutting for the 148 year-old bridge on Friday, May 10th.
