(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- An Iowa City man accused of robbing a bank, and fleeing to New Orleans, is pleading not guilty to first-degree robbery.

Prosecutors say surveillance video shows Andrew Derr jumping over a counter at a Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust branch on January 3rd, and showing a gun while demanding money.

Police found marked bills from the bank among his belongings after he fled to Louisiana, where he was arrested, and extradited to Iowa.

His trial begins May 14th.
