(Des Moines, IA) -- East University Avenue traffic is exceptionally heavy as the state fair continues. Both directions of University have had back-ups near the fair entrance, and the Southeast Polk High School Park and Ride has had long lines as drivers wait to get in.
No lines have been reported at The State Capitol Park and Ride or the Center Street park and Ride.
Dart charges two dollars round trip for the Park and Ride locations, and one dollar if the riders shows a state fair admission ticket.
