(Wapello County, Iowa) -- An Ottumwa man is charged with the murder of his wife, who went missing over the weekend.
Ottumwa police say Gregory Showalter turned himself in this morning. His wife Helen's body was found in the Des Moines River on Sunday. She was reported missing the day before.
Police say her death was the result of foul play, but haven't released further details at this time.
