Last few days of early voting in Linn County TIMES LOCATIONS

Cedar Rapids, IA -- We're down to the last few days for early voting, before Election Day, Tuesday November 3, 2020. Lines are moving pretty quickly for early voters in Cedar Rapids, except for one location, with one rush hour.

"It's actually right before lunch." Linn County Auditor Joel Miller tells WMT Radio news.

"There are people lined up at 11:00 o'clock at the mall, and have been since we opened October 6." He said.

"There'll be 40 or 50 people there, and then there'll be another 40 or 50 as the line continues to move. So we'll have this huge rush and process 150 to 200 voters in the first hour, hour and a half." Miller says.

He tells WMT Radio News that during the rush at the mall it takes a little longer to get through, but usually not more than 20 minutes.

In Des Moines people have been waiting in lines down the block and around the corner to vote early, taking as long as an hour to vote.

There's still time for early voting in Linn County. The satellite locations will be open Friday and Saturday.
