Residents living in unincorporated areas of Linn County have a place to get rid of tree debris. The county is opening four self-drop-off sites on Tuesday.
Those sights are at the former Abbe home, the Mount Vernon Secondary Road Shop, the Whittier Secondary Road Shop, and the Wikiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center.
The sites are only open to residents and workers will be at the sites to verify addresses. No staff will be available to help unload the debris, which can include trees, brush, or other vegetation. Other debris, like building materials, will not be accepted.
Storm debris will also be accepted at the Solid Waste Agency’s locations. More information is available on the county’s website.
