As the long term clean-up process continues in Cedar Rapids, Hy-Vee is sending help.

The company says they use their 'Healthy You Mobile' and semi-trailers to provide snacks and beverages in neighborhoods to help with recovery effort

It will also make stops so people without power can charge their phones. KCRG-TV 9 reports the You Mobile will make stops around Cedar Rapids Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The grocery chain is also partnering with HACAP for a contactless drive-thru giveaway. The giveaway is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

“The damage inflicted by this storm to our communities is unlike anything we’ve seen in a long time, as it cut such a wide path across the state and hit so many areas,” Randy Edeker, chairman of the board, CEO and president of Hy-Vee tells KCRG-TV 9. “The damage is especially severe in the Cedar Rapids area, and we want to do whatever we can to help those residents as they clean up their neighborhoods and begin the recovery process.”
