The Iowa City Community School District board has voted to start the school year with online learning.
The school district had also been considering in-person only classes and a hybrid of in-person and online classes.
Courses in the online program will be done using the district's Seesaw and Canvas programs. Students will be offered grab and go meals for breakfast and lunch, according to the district’s Return to Learn plans.
