CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – May 5, 2020 – To encourage safe and responsible social distancing practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bike to Work Week activities – traditionally held in May – will be postponed and are tentatively scheduled for September 21-27, 2020. This will include events such as the Mayor’s bike ride and proclamation, pit stops, group rides, and wrap-up party.
The City continues to carefully assess the timing and details of the 2020 launch of the Bike Share program’s electric-assist bikes and scooters, pending public health measures related to COVID-19. Additional details will be released as a timeline is determined.
