The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight that was scheduled for Tuesday , May 19 will not occur on that day, but will be rescheduled.
Due to the COVID -19 ( Coronavirus) , the National Honor Flight Organization has required all local Honor Flight hubs to suspend flights through May 31st.
As with the April flight that was postponed, we are committed to rescheduling the May flight as soon as it is safe to do so.
For the safety of our travelers, the May flight orientation that was scheduled for Sunday, April 26 was also cancelled, and will be rescheduled when a new flight date is determined.
We’ll announce rescheduled flight dates to our Veterans and media representatives when that information is available.
We’re sorry that these circumstances will delay the opportunity for our Veterans to visit the Memorials that honor them in Washington D.C.
