A suspected terrorist was shot and killed by police in London after stabbing multiple people on a busy street in Streatham. London's Metropolitan Police said that two people were injured but did not release information on their condition.
According to the Guardian, one person is in serious condition after waiting nearly 30 minutes for an ambulance.
Authorities said the attack was "terror-related" and they believe the suspect acted alone.
"Thank you to all emergency services responding to the incident in Streatham, which the police have now declared as terrorism-related," Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted.
Witnesses said that the man was armed with a machete and had "silver canisters" strapped to his chest. He was reportedly engaged by undercover officers, who fired multiple shots, killing the armed assailant.
