The Linn County Solid Waste Agency wants to create a recreational facility at Mount Trashmore.
The agency is currently accepting bids to turn an existing building into a space for staff and visitors. This will include a new parking lot, paved sidewalks, utilities, and fencing.
The Agency wants the work to start sometime in October and finish by May 2020.
The estimated cost is more than $1 million.
