A street on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids will be closed starting Tuesday.
Hawkeye Downs Road SW will be closed at J Street SW for work on a culvert. Assuming favorable weather conditions, the work should be completed in two days.
Traffic on J Street SW will be unaffected by the work, but drivers will not be allowed to turn onto Hawkeye Downs Road at that intersection due to the work.
