- Senior Megan Gustafson registered her 78th career double-double (27 Points, 17 rebounds), breaking Jantel Lavender’s (Ohio State) Big Ten record for double-doubles in a career. It is her 23rd double-double of the season.
- Iowa improved to 20-5 overall and 11-3 in conference action. The Hawkeyes have registered 20 or more wins 10 times in the last 12 seasons. Iowa has 12, 20-win seasons under head coach Lisa Bluder.
- Iowa outscored Illinois 48-16 in the paint.
- The Hawkeyes outrebounded Illinois, 44-26.
- Junior Makenzie Meyer returned to the Iowa lineup after missing a pair of games with an injury. She scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field.
- Iowa returns to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday, hosting Maryland at 12 p.m. (CT). Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for youth, and free for UI students. All fans are encouraged to wear pink.
