Free parking, student tickets for Iowa BBall

The University of Iowa athletics department is offering free admission for 1,000 university students to Thursday's men's basketball matchup against nationally-ranked Michigan State, the school announced on Tuesday.

The first 1,000 University of Iowa students to log on to hawkeyesports.com can claim a reserved seat for when the Hawkeye men take on the #6 Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. They can either download a ticket to a mobile device or print out a ticket. Students can also purchase a guest ticket for a non-student for $10.

Iowa students can always get free admission to women's basketball games with their student ID cards. The Hawkeye women host #17 Rutgers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Free public parking in nearby lots will be provided to both games. Donor parking lots are not included in this offer.

You can hear the game tomorrow night on Newsradio 600 WMT. Pregame coverage begins with Gary Dolphin and Bobby Hansen at 5pm, tipoff at 6pm.
