The teenager who has been missing since January 5 has been found safe, officials said Wednesday night.
According to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Jody Palmer, 16, was located and is safe. No further details are available at this time, as an investigation is still ongoing.
Authorities worked with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and would like to thank the public for their assistance in getting the word out.
