The Cedar Rapids Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 9:29 a.m. Monday.
When police arrived at the 2000 block of North Towne Court NE, Cambridge Apartments, they found an apartment window with damage from what appeared to be gunfire.
The Special Response Team was also deployed to enter and search the building for possible suspects.
18-year-old Tarius Robinson and 19-year-old Terrell Gray Jr. were arrested.
Robinson was arrested for Carrying Weapons, Trespassing, and Criminal Mischief.
Gray was arrested for Trespassing and Providing False Information. He also had a warrant for previous theft charges.
Investigators believe gunfire was exchanged and one of the apartments was hit by a bullet.
