Firework sales begin today in Iowa for the holiday season.
Iowa law allows people to buy fireworks between December 10 and January 3 as well as between June 1 and July 8.
While selling them is allowed during this period, it might not be legal to shoot them off depending on city ordinances.
People must also be 18-years-old to purchase fireworks.
