A man has been arrested for arson after a trailer caught fire in rural Riverside Wednesday.
At 12:16 a.m. dispatch was notified of a trailer fire northwest of Riverside on the 5400 block of Lackender Avenue SW.
Authorities say everyone was able to get out of the trailer.
After nearly three hours Washington County Sheriff's personnel found a man connected to the case. Johnson County officials also responded and arrested 34-year-old Ryan Lippard for second-degree arson.
Lippard is being held in the Johnson County Jail and his bond has been set at $25,000.
Crews from the Kalona, Riverside, and Hills fire department helped extinguish the trailer fire.
