The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office is trying to determine how a car and ATV collided, leaving the ATV driver with life-threatening injuries.
The two vehicles crashed at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Worthington Road and Wieferich Road, near Worthington in Dubuque County. The ATV driver went to a Dubuque hospital. The sheriff's office estimates the total damage to be $8,000.
The crash is under investigation. The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Worthington first responders and Bi-County ambulance.
