The Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency will be closing their compost location on A Street SW Tuesday due to flood prevention efforts and staging.
Mount Trashmore and its trails will also be closed.
Until further notice, any yard waste can be taken to the Solid Waste Agency landfill at 1954 County Home Road in Marion.
Residential yard waste loads are $24 per ton and will be weighed before being taken to the yard waste area.
Mixed loads of yard waste and garbage are $40 per ton and are to be taken to the landfill. Commercial yard waste loads cost $40 per ton.
