MARION, Iowa (KCRG) - The Marion Police Department is asking for help identifying two women shown in the photos below.
Police say the two women allegedly approached a victim and stole her purse on August 25.
The woman was using the can redemption machine inside Hy-Vee when the suspects allegedly stole the purse at 9:29 p.m.
The two suspects then ran from the store, got into a red Dodge Caravan with Illinois plates, and left the scene.
Later, the two were seen at the Blairs Ferry Wal-Mart, where they tried to use the victim's credit card to buy more than $3,000 in gift cards.
The two then left the store in a gray Sudan (pictured above).
