Iowa Ideas Conference Continues

THE IOWA IDEAS CONFERENCE CONTINUES TODAY IN CEDAR RAPIDS. 

 DURING OPENING DAY YESTERDAY, THE IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY DIRECTOR SPOKE ABOUT THE STATE'S WORKFORCE GOALS. 

DEBI DURHAM SAYS THE FUTURE RELIES ON IOWA'S ABILITY TO BOTH ATTRACT AND RETAIN WORKERS.  HER COMMENTS WERE PART OF A PANEL DISCUSSION HELD BY FUTURE READY IOWA, 

THE SKILLED WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE FORMED TO RECRUIT PEOPLE INTO TRAINING FOR HIGH DEMAND JOBS IN THE STATE.
