IN THE LINN MAR COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT LEADERS ARE TRYING TO PASS A $55 MILLION DOLLAR BOND VOTE TO PAY FOR TWO NEW SCHOOLS.
THE HIGH SCHOOL IN MONTICELLO WOULD HAVE A NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL WING ATTACHED TO IT IF VOTERS APPROVE A 15-MILLION-DOLLAR PROPOSAL BOND MEASURE TODAY.
MEANTIME NORTHEAST IOWA COMMUNITY COLLEGE IS REQUESTING VOTERS TO APPROVE THE CONTINUANCE OF A BOND LEVY THAT WILL HELP THE COLLEGE ADD SECURITY CAMERAS, UPDATE LABS AND CLASSROOMS, IMPROVE ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND MORE. IF APPROVED, NICC WOULD GET $39 MILLION TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO ITS PEOSTA AND CALMAR CAMPUSES, AS WELL AS ITS CENTERS.
