IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Iowa City Police are investigating a strong arm robbery that happened at 10:29 p.m. Monday at the Walgreens on the 2200 block of Muscatine Avenue.
Police say the suspect has been described as a Hispanic male with a heavier build, wearing all dark clothing.
Authorities say the man approached a pharmacy employee and demanded to be taken behind the counter of the pharmacy.
The suspect also threatened the use of a weapon, but none was shown.
Police say the suspect then gathered an undisclosed account of medication after hopping over the counter. He then left the store on foot.
Iowa City authorities say no one was hurt during the incident.
