FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Fayette County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the 50th Street and E Avenue intersection Sunday at 6:35 p.m..
43-year-old Kenneth Taylor from Strawberry Point was approaching an uncontrolled intersection without yielding to traffic on his right when he collided with a truck driven by 23-year-old Colton Janssen from Arlington.
During the crash Janssen's truck rolled into the ditch.
Two people were hurt and taken to the Manchester Hospital for their injuries.
Both of the trucks involved in the accident were totalled.
Taylor was cited for Failure to Yield to the Right.
The Arlington Ambulance and Arlington Fire Department assisted at the scene.
