CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Cedar Rapids fire investigators say a house fire where two firefighters were injured on Friday was intentionally set.
When firefighters arrived at 1639 Hollywood Boulevard NE just after 3 p.m. Friday, they found the sun porch at the rear of the house was on fire and it had spread to the kitchen.
Two firefighters were hurt while battling the fire. One was shocked by electricity and taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The other had shortness of breath.and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The family of four was not home at the time, but the family's cat died in the fire.
