Five more people have been arrested in connection with a large fight at Cedar Valley Townhomes in Cedar Rapids.
According police, officers arrested four people on Friday in connection to the disturbance at 3000 J St SW on Monday, Aug. 13.
One 14-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys are charged with rioting.One of the 17-year-olds is also charged with interference with official acts.
The fourth person, 18-year-old Larenzo Burnett, is also charged with rioting.
On Saturday, police arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection to the incident.
This brings the total number of arrests to 9 so far.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
