Vinton Police Make "High Speed Chase" Arrest

Vinton police have arrested a man that led officers on a chase earlier this month where people got in the way of police vehicles because they were trying to get video.

Officers arrested Kody Harris on an interference with official acts charge on Monday. Police chased Harris about a week ago in downtown Vinton because he was wanted on federal parole violation charges.

He abandoned his car near the Cedar River and ran into a wooded area. Police arrested his passenger April Baldwin on the day of the chase. They arrested Harris on Monday.

After the chase, police sent out a warning telling people to not get in the way of law enforcement when trying to record video on your phone.
