A Manchester man has died in a two vehicle crash after investigators said he failed to stop at a stop sign.
The Iowa State Patrol said it happened about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, August 7 at 255th Street and 190th Avenue about six mile south of Manchester.
Troopers said 51-year-old James Koopman was driving a pickup west on 255th Street and failed to stop for a stop sign at 190th Avenue and hit a truck driving north.
The patrol said Koopman died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The report does not indicate the other driver was injured.
